Here is a very rare fossil worm. This is an Unidentified Segmented Worm from the Marjum Formation of Utah. Similar worms have also been found in the famous Burgess Shale of Canada. This worm is large and very distinct - the dark coloration and detail of the fossil is totally natural. The fossil worm is well positioned on the large, natural plate of shale. This is a unique specimen of a very rare fossil worm from the ''Cambrian Explosion''.
