Here is a unique echinoderm specimen from the Ordovician of Morocco. This plate contains THREE beautiful, large, unidentified brittlestars. The distinct brittlestars exhibit fine detail. The large central discs are wonderfully displayed, and the extremely long, sinuous arms are intact. But the most collectible feature of this plate is that there are a DOZEN UNIDENTIFIED EDRIOASTEROIDS preserved! This is the most edrios from Morocco on one plate that we have seen. The fossils have excellent, orange coloration that contrasts strikingly with the light tan matrix. The fossil is well showcased on the large sandstone block. This is an ultra rare association plate of brittlestars and edrioasteroids from North Africa.
