Here is an interesting vertebrate fossil. It is a large Fossil Deer Jaw from Nebraska. There are still FIVE molars firmly embedded in the jaw. The teeth are very well preserved, but the deer must have eaten on one tooth exclusively, because that tooth is worn to the roots! The enamel is in wonderful condition, and the cusps of the teeth are clearly defined. This is a very fine fossilized deer jaw with worn teeth preserved - a great gift for a deer hunter.
