This is a fine multiple plate of Pentremites rusticus from the Pennsylvanian of Oklahoma. There are SEVEN specimens of Pentremites blastoid preserved on this plate. The blastoids exhibit excellent detail - the plate structure is well defined, and the ambulacra are wonderfully preserved. The fossils are extremely 3-dimensional and quite inflated. The fossils are nicely positioned on the natural plate of limestone that also contains a brachiopod. This is a very nice assemblage of blastoids from the Brentwood Formation.
