This is a very nice association fossil. It is a large Fossil Bird Feather and Lygodium kaulfussii (Climbing Fern) Leaf from the Green River Formation of Utah. The wing feather has great color and detail, especially under magnification. The leaf is also very detailed and are easily seen on the slab. Both of the fossils are fully natural to the plate - nothing was added or enhanced. This is a rare grouping of a rare vertebrate fossil and distinct plant fossil preserved together on the same rock.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
