Here is fabulous plate of crinoids and echinoids from Gilmore City, Iowa. The plate has THREE rare Arcaeocidaris aliquantula echinoids preserved. The urchins are beautifully displayed with spines intact, which is quite unusual. There are also three nice crinoids on the plate - all are different species! The fossils have great color and contrast and are naturally positioned on the large, natural plate of limestone. This is a very uncommon multiple echinoid and crinoid association from a classic Midwestern fossil locality.
