Here is a very uncommon echinoid we acquired from an old collection. It is an unidentified sea urchin from the Wadial Mujib of Jordan. This inflated sea urchin has very nice form and exhibits good plate structure and small knobs. This type of echinoid has very thin ambulacra and very distinct symmetry. This is a fine specimen of this rare urchin from the Middle East.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
