Here is a wonderful trace fossil. This is a fossil bird trackway from the Green River Formation. There are two very distinct tracks on the plate. These tracks were possibly made by a sandpiper-type bird. The tracks are well positioned on the natural plate of shale. This is a very fine trackway of a fossil bird from the Eocene of Utah.
