Specimen SSS919
This is a spectacular trilobite fossil. It is a fabulous Dicranurus monstrosus from Morocco. This amazing specimen was painstakingly prepared under a microscope in the EXTINCTIONS Preparation Lab, as are all of our Moroccan trilobites. Dicranurus is known worldwide for its unique, spider-like appearance - but many faked examples have flooded the market. However, this specimen is GENUINE AND FULLY REAL. This trilobite has its occipital ''Ram's Horns'' prepared fully free-standing, which makes for an impressive display. This trilobite was meticulously extracted from one solid block of rock - a killer bug beautifully showcased on the sculpted limestone base. This is one of the largest, most displayable Dicranurus trilobites we have ever seen.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally. A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
