This is a very large canine tooth from Ursus uralensis, a cave bear. This specimen is from the Pleistocene Cave Deposits of Russia. Cave bear material is becoming harder to obtain as the old caves are producing very little new material. This canine tooth exhibits a long, complete root. This fossil tooth has good enamel. The tip of the tooth is near perfect. This is a very nice, robust canine tooth from an extinct cave bear.
