This is a very nice cave bear jaw from the Pleistocene of Russia. Cave bear material is becoming harder to obtain as the cave deposits have been heavily collected. Five excellent teeth are retained in the jawbone. The teeth are all natural to the jaw. The teeth have excellent enamel and exhibit hardly any wear. The large canine tooth is in superb condition. This is a very fine display specimen of a cave bear jaw with excellent teeth.
